Government Research Links
Government HSA This link provides a list of resources which can be used in preparation for the High School Assessment in Government.
Practice HSA Check this site out for practice tests. It is great preparation for the HSA on May 25th.
The House of Representatives You can find information on how the House works and about your representative.
The Senate You can find information about how the Senate works and your Senator.
The White House Any presidential question you may have can be answered using this site.
Supreme Court Cases This site is great for finding information on any Supreme Court case.
Democracy in Action Text Resources This site provides activities and review based on your textbook.

U.S. History

HSA US History Resources This is a great place to begin your research for the required research paper.
The Library of Congress You will be amazed at the information you can find using this website. It has almost a limitless amount of primary and secondary sources.
The National Archives You will be amazed at the information you can find using this website. It has almost a limitless amount of primary and secondary sources.
The Avalon Project This site has thousands of primary sources. It is a little complicated to search, but I can give you a few pointers, if you need them.
The American Republic Text This site provides activities and review based on your textbook.

Contemporary World Studies

Global Gateway You will be amazed at the information you can find using this website. It has almost a limitless amount of primary and secondary sources for the study of world cultures.
The United Nations This is a valuable site for keeping up with world affairs.
World Geography text resources There is not a textbook for Contemporary World Studies, but this site does offer activities and review material for our course.

General Social Studies

Online Social Studies Resources This would be a good starting point for any research that you have to do in any social studies course.
School Improvement in Maryland This site is for your parents. It provides an explanation of the state testing program and the voluntary state curriculum.
