Hello,and welcome to my webpage. This is my 20th year teaching !! This is my ninth year at Camp Creek teaching 5th grade, and I love it. I am originally from Tennessee.....yes all you Bulldogs, that means I am a VOL!! I got my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Tennessee, and then I moved to Gwinnett County for my first teaching job at Snellville Middle School in 1992. I am very blessed to be at Camp Creek now. Currently, I am working on my Specialist degree with four other Camp Creek teachers, and we attending Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. I have two children, Anthony and Elyse. Anthony is very involved in sports, and Elyse stays busy dancing. My husband is a graphic designer/web designer who has his own business. Our family enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and sports. For those of you with young children, you can understand that my life outside of school involves a lot of driving around from one activity to another. In between all of my children's activities, I love to come see my students in their sporting events, etc., so be sure to give me a schedule so I can come and watch. I look forward to a great year!
