CURRICULUM

Writing:  We will begin reviewing everything that we have learned from now until the Writing Test on March 7th.  This includes:  informational, narrative, and persuasive.  This week we will be writing an informational essay with the theme of "friends."

Grammar:

     -Daily Language Review #23- due Thursday

Math:  Units 9 -AREA/VOLUME of Triangles and Parallelograms

          -We will be comparing methods for finding the area of

             triangles and parallelograms.

          - We will explore Volume and Capacity.

Science:  Physical Properties/Matter

      Essential Questions: 

          1.  What is matter?

          2.  What is density?

          3.  How dense are solids, liquids, and gases?

          4.  How does density make things sink or float?

          5.  What is the difference between mass and weight?
