World History 10
This course follows a chronological approach to the major ideas that underlie an understanding of the development of world history incorporating learning from the various disciplines of the social studies. Structured as an outgrowth of Global History and Geography 9 Regents, it attempts to broaden and deepen knowledge and skills in the context of the histories, political, social and economic development of the world. In conjunction with the New York State mandates, all students will take the Global History and Geography Regents Exam. Textbook: World History - Human Legacy - Holt, Rinehart and Winston Review Book: Brief Review for Global History and Geography 2008, Prentice-Hall Tuesday 11/17/09: Test on Nationalism Chapter 24. Wednesday 11/18/09: Chapter 25 Section 1. Read and outline the section. Also do Key Terms and People. Thursday 11/19/09: Chapter 25 Section 2. Read and outline the section. Also do key terms and people. Friday 11/20/09: Chapter 25 Section 3. Read and outlline the section. Also do key terms and people.
