World History 10
This course follows a chronological approach to the major ideas that underlie an understanding of the development of world history incorporating learning from the various disciplines of the social studies. Structured as an outgrowth of Global History and Geography 9 Regents, it attempts to broaden and deepen knowledge and skills in the context of the histories, political, social and economic development of the world. In conjunction with the New York State mandates, all students will take the Global History and Geography Regents Exam. Textbook: World History - Human Legacy - Holt, Rinehart and Winston Review Book: Brief Review for Global History and Geography 2008, Prentice-Hall Nationalism Paper due Tuesday 11/10/09. 5 pts. off for every day late. Due Friday: 11/5/09: Chapter 24 Section1. Read and outline the section also do the key terms and people.
