Dear Visitor to the PTA Web Pages: "The schools of the country are its future in miniature." - Tehyi Hsieh, Chinese educator Welcome to the PTA web pages, where you will learn a lot about our school and community. From experience, I can say that we at John Lewis Childs Elementary School are very fortunate to have such an active and energetic Parent Teacher Association. The PTA plans many exciting events for our school. The time and dedication of the PTA is to be commended. From the Harvest Fair in October to the Cultural Arts Festival in the Spring, there is always something exciting happening. Our children are really very fortunate. It is said in a poem by Dorothy Law Nolte that children learn what they live. Thinking about that and knowing what a wonderful PTA we have, I can agree.
