O W H Junior Historians Visit the NARA in Ft. Worth
The Junior Historians field trip to the National Archives and Records Administration Southwest Region in Ft. Worth was very informative. Did you know that the NARA Southwest Region houses over 86,000 records covering a wide range of content. We were able to examine handwritten letters from President Thomas Jefferson and Ulysses S. Grant, along with a war diary from the USS ST. Louis and a memorandum about the space program Mercury.
