Iron Eagle Club

Iron Eagle is open to all 3rd-5th grade students who are looking to become faster, stronger, quicker and more agile. It's also for those who simply wish to get into good shape. The program runs from November - mid March. Students in 3rd grade work out on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:00-9:00. 4ht and 5th grade kids combine for a workout on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00-9:00 as well. The program is not easy. It is not fun and games. The activities are often what you would see in a "boot camp" or a speed and strength clinic. Both of which often charge a nice fee. Luckily, your kids have the opportunity to get it for free!! Activities include overspeed sprinting with bungee chords, sprint tire dragging, tire flipping, sprint tire pushing, tire pulling with hands and arms only, ladder drills, bosu ball work, exercise ball squats, sprints, hurdle squats, agility hurdles, outdoor distance, hill work and when it snows, we will be out pulling sleds on the flat and up the hill.
