Unit 2 - Working Together Language Arts Our language arts lessons will include all reading, writing, grammar, phonics, spelling, and handwriting lessons. We will be working on a 5 day cycle in language arts. On the 5th day of the cycle we will be having a spelling test and selection assessment which will include phonics, grammar, high-frequency words, and comprehension. We will be having ongoing fluency assessments throughout the themes. *Scroll down to find the highlighted section for our current reading selection. Please go to the Unit 2 Review Extras for the current spelling list. I have also included all the past high-frequency words for extra practice. Students will be tested on all the high-frequency words. They should know them quickly and without hesitation.
