Hello!  My name is Mrs. Bigley, and I am formerly known as Miss Hillegass.  I am from Tamaqua, PA, and I graduated from Tamaqua Area High School in 2002.  I went to Moravian College and studied Elementary and Art Education.  I graduated in 2006 and am earning my Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist. 

For the past few years I have taught at our Summer Reading Camp, and I tutor privately.  I've also spent my Summers as a classroom teacher and art director for the Lehigh Valley Summerbridge Program at Moravian Academy in Bethlehem.  I have had  teaching experiences in many of Bethlehem Area School District's elementary schools (Donegan, Lincoln, Miller Heights, and Asa Packer).  I also student taught in the Saucon Valley School District.  I began my teaching career at Northern Lehigh High School as a Family and Consumer Science teacher.  In August 2007, I came to Peters Elementary and have been teaching 1st grade ever since.  I have absolutely loved my experiences at Peters, and I couldn't ask for anything more!
