MEETINGS
All proceeds from our concessions and fund raisers will go towards the Jr. High Banquet. This year the banquet will be for all students both athletic and academic awards will be given out.
All donations are greatly appreciated, if it is not donated then it comes out of the student fund to buy the supplies needed. Look for a sign up sheet in Monday's concession stand. Many other supplies are needed.
We discussed what items to sale at concession stands and determined that we need to offer meal deals to teams and try to boost our sales.
Since the boys are playing one place and the girls the other, it is going to be difficult to have concession workers.-- Need Parent Volunteers!
Our tournament will hopefully bring in enough money to make up the difference in the low sales at the weekly games. We will also gain Freshman/Jv White games after Christmas.
Our banquet will be April 16th, 2011 at the Event Center aka "Parish Hall".
Committees were formed. A complete list will be added soon.

*WE DISCUSSED THAT WE ARE DOING SO WELL ON OUR FUND RAISING THAT THERE WILL BE MONEY LEFT OVER AT THE END OF THE YEAR. WE ARE REQUIRED TO LEAVE $500 IN THE MEMPHIS STATE BANK ACCOUNT AND $100 IN THE SCHOOL ACCOUNT. AFTER THAT IS LEFT, WE WILL TAKE THE EXCESS AND DIVIDE IT EVENLY BETWEEN THE 7TH AND 8TH GRADE CLASSES FOR THEM TO CARRY OVER TO HIGH SCHOOL.
*IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT WE HAVE A JR. HIGH LINK ON THE SCHOOL WEBSITE. JULIE
BROWN IS GOING TO ASK ABOUT THAT.
*THE DANCES HAVE GONE VERY WELL. WE HAVE MADE ATLEAST $500 AT EACH ONE.
OUR NEXT DANCE IS SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 22. WE DISCUSSED WAYS TO MAKE THE
DANCES MORE FUN. WE MAY HAVE A HOT DOG EATING CONTEST AND A DANCE-OFF. WE
ARE OPEN TO OTHER SUGGESTIONS ALSO.
**WE HAVE CANCELLED THE DANCE ON THE 22nd!**
**ALL PARENTS ARE ENCOURAGED, WELCOMED, AND NEEDED TO HELP CHAPERONE THE DANCES**
JAM THE GYM IS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10 AT 6:00 IN ANTLER GYM. ALL BASKETBALL
PLAYERS WILL BE INTRODUCED AND THERE WILL BE A PARENT MEETING AFTER.
Sorry for YELLING at you through the whole second half of this letter. By the time I noticed that I was, there was too much to retype!
Thanks again for EVERYTHING that you have helped with. Without your time and donations, we would not be having as successful of a year as we are.
