Homework! Homework! Homework! 

This is the place where all homework assignments will be posted.  All tests will be posted 1 week before the test is given. 

It is the responsibility of the student to be aware of all homework.  Homework is individualized for each student.  Homework will be sent home in a red folder that says "Homework Folder" with the students name on it.

Homework will be given on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week except for the week of PSSA's and 4Sight testing. There will be no homework at that time.  Homework will be placed in the folder for your child and handed to them before they leave for the day. 

Reading:  Each student has a Corrective Reading Enrichment.  Each student has a 20 minute reading assignment provided for them.  They should read for 20 minutes a night to an adult.  Each adult should initial the reading log and mark the length of time that was read by the student.  The reading log is handed in and is considered homework to be completed.  The reading assignments will be provided for the student.

Math:  Math Facts sheet, They need to practice their times tables! Each student is at a different level.  They have their sheets.  They will also have a practice sheet of math skills previously learned, and that will probably be seen on the P.S.S.A.'s.  Please encourage your child to practice these math skills.  The homework is practice from the lesson in class that day.

Pennmanship: Each student has a sheet to practice cursive writing.

On Monday, each student will have a Spelling study sheet of the current weeks Spelling Words, in their homework folder.  Spelling should be practiced nightly in order for your child to receive a passing score on Friday's test.
