Dear Parents,

    Welcome back to another wonderful school year.  We are off to a great start.  This year we have a wonderful group of students who seem eager to learn and grow. 

     Fifth grade is a year of transitions for our students.  In addition to all of the learning they will do, they will also be expected to take on more responsibility for their work as well as the choices they make.  Please encourage your child to always put forth his/her best effort, be respectful to others, be honest and caring and take responsibility for their choices.

    This year I will continue to co-teach with Ms. Tigue during math class.  Two teachers working together to benefit all students.  This was a huge success last year and the students loved it.  Our class will be receiving  two new computers and a projector.  This will allow us to do more interactive learning and enhance our curriculum.  

     This year is going to be fantastic and I'm so excited to be here.  As always, please feel free to contact me through the school secretary or through email with any questions or concerns you may have.  I look forward to working with you and together we will make this a successful year for your child.
