Please remember;

**Any donations of tissues, paper towels, hand soap etc.
    are always greatly appreciated.

1.  When you enter Room 8-311 please go straight to your
      assigned seat.  No socializing along the way.  Prepare for
      class.

2.  NEVER,NEVER, I believe I said NEVER, leave your seat
      without the teacher's permission.

3.  Even though enthusiasm is much appreciated  -  please 
     raise your hand when ansering a question.

4.  NO GUM CHEWING   - EVER!!!! (anywhere on PS19 property).

5.  Wear your uniform if you enjoy your "out to lunch" privilege.

6.  Respect is EARNED  -  not just given. Please treat everyone
     you meet during the day with respect.  (Administrators,
     Teachers, Visitors, Lunchroom Personnel and most
     importantly  -   each other.)

7.  When you are in the school building, please use language 
      that is appropriate for the classroom.

8.  Please check that you have supplies before you leave the 
      house in the morning. (pens, sharpened pencils, erasers,
      ruler etc.  -  and most importantly your HOMEWORK!! 
      Homework is an integral part of your education.

9.  Be an active participant in your eduacation.  Take your notes,
     raise your hand, ask questions, or assist someone who is
     struggling.  Take responsibility for your own education.

10. Remmeber -  you are the 8th grade  - the senior members of
       the school.  You are the role models for the rest of the 
       students.  Please set a good example and live up to that
       responsibility!

Following these simple rules will ensure a pleasant and successful school year!!
