Wish List

Below are items that are needed or desired for our classroom. Please know that you have the sincerest thanks and appreciation of both me and my students for your contributions.

  • Extra printer cartridges are greatly appreciated and make a GREAT gift for ANY teacher this year! Any of the following will work in Mrs. FLynt's classroom: HP-56, HP-57, Canon PGI-5BK, Canon CLI-8 MultiPack, Canon CLI-8M, Canon CLI-8C, Canon CLI-8BK, Canon CLI-8Y.
  • Large exercise or fitness balls to use as student "chairs."  Exercise balls are a great alternative to the standard chair; they are currently being scientifically evaulated for their ability to boost attention and metabolism in the classroom setting, and are becoming increasingly common in gifted classrooms!
  • Used tennis balls to cover chair feet. These will reduce classroom noise and prevent scratches on our nice, new lab tables when stacking chairs.
  • Flash drives that do not require installation of software - I loan these to students who don't have one of their own. All students can now use flash drives on school computers to transfer projects from school to home and back.
  • Moist-wipes (any kind) for cleaning hands, desks, & dry erase boards.
  • High-level current books and magazines about the ocean, meteorology and weather, the environment, ecosystems, water conservation, global warming, green living, alternative energy, etc. that students can  use for research.
  • Help provide the ingredients for Pebble Power Reward Days: 10 oz cans of Rotel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilis (mild), 2 lb. blocks of Velveta 2% cheese, large bags of tortilla chips, 2 Liter bottles of sodas or juice.
