Vade Mecum
The Framework of a Positive Learning Environment
I want to have fun with you, I want you to be successful in this class, and I want you to love science as much as I do. In order to make this happen, we have to lay out some guidelines. You might call it a compass – something to keep us on course as we explore our world and help us arrive at our goals at the end of the journey. So that you can LEARN… So that you ENJOY learning… So that I can ENJOY TEACHING you… The following handouts outline what I expect of every student in my class each day. Each of these handouts should be kept in the Vade Mecum section of your science binder. This section is sort of like a "How To" guide. Please make sure you have a copy of each of these handouts in your binder at all times.
