Hello,
My name is Mr. Ecker. I live in East Greenbush with my wonderful wife, Mrs. Ecker, who I have been married to for three years. We have one cat named Misty and are currently experiencing the wonders of parenthood. A Little About Me I was born in Gloversville, NY where I lived until 1997 when I started attending SUNY Plattsburgh. Upon graduating in 2000, I starting subbing in East Greenbush and working at GCC. I just received my Master's Degree in education from The College of St. Rose. This is my eighth year teaching at Green Meadow and my seventh year teaching second grade. I love teaching and watching my students grow into responsible citizens. When not in school, I enjoy cooking (love Mexican and Asian), gardening, photography, doing things around the house and spending time with my family. We also enjoy camping, canoeing and going on vacations to Florida and Maine.
On March 4, 2008 Mrs.Ecker gave birth to our first child. Ryan William is a wonderful baby and is bringing much joy to our lives. Being parents is the best experience of our lives. This summer, we have enjoyed sending all of our time with Ryan. He is full of energy and keeps his parents on their feet 12 hours a day. We have been to The Philadelphia Zoo, Sesame Place,and Hershey Park. We also enjoyed 2 weeks at our Lake House on Canada Lake. While there, Ryan climbed his first mountain (On Daddy's back), went boating, and floated in the lake. In August, Ryan went on his first camping trip. He is a true camper and loved "roughing it."
