We are still in need of a Junior Achievement parent. This is a short unit of 5 lessons that last about 30 minutes each. You will get all the materials and a brief training session. Then we can schedule the lessons in the classroom. We can even combine 2 lessons together. This year's theme is about community, from the planning stages to how businesses are run. The lessons won't be taught in the class until after January. If you are interested please email me. Friday, October 31st is Pumpkin Day Parent Volunteers will be helping groups of students learn about the math and science of pumpkins. We will also be creating a craft, eating snacks, and singing pumpkin songs. Students are encouraged to dress in orange and black for spirit day! If you would like to volunteer and help out with any of the activities throughout the day you are more than welcome to come on by!!
