REGENTS EXAM REQUIREMENTS FOR TYPES OF DIPLOMAS OFFERED AT SACRED HEART ACADEMY The following are the Regents Exam requirements for various diplomas. Specific course requirements can be found on page 2 of the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart Curriculum Guide. 쳌To Receive a Regents Diploma, students must pass 5 Regents exams with a score of 65 or above. Required exams are: =English =Math A or Algebra =Global History and Geography =US History and Government =Science (The Living Environment) ?To receive a Regents Diploma with Honors a student must achieve an average of 90% in all exams that are required for a Regents Diploma. ?To receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation, students must pass 8 Regents Exams with a score of 65 or above. Required exams are: =English =Math A or Algebra =Global History and Geography =US History and Government =Science (2 exams-1 in Living Environment or 1 in Chemistry, Earth Science and Physics) =Math B or Algebra/Trigonometry =A Language other than English ?To receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation with Honors a student must achieve an average of 90% in all exams that are required for a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. 10/1/2008
