I grew up west of Baltimore, in a town called Eldersburg. It's a small town that in recent years has grown to have many shops, restaurants, and people. After high school I attended Frostburg State University for my undergraduate degree in Communications. Frostburg is a beautiful town in Western Maryland that is surrounded by mountains. I loved it there!
Midway through college I realized that what I really wanted to do was work with children. I did some job exploring and found that counseling was for me! Immediately after my time at Frostburg I went on to get my Masters Degree in School Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland. I am proud to say that U.S. News & World Report ranked Loyola University Maryland second among master’s universities in the North region in its 2009 "America’s Best Colleges" survey. It has ranked among the Top 10 institutions in this category for more than a decade.
Currently, I live in Newark Delaware with my husband, Patrick, who is a high school English teacher in Delaware. No little ones yet...In the meantime, we consider our Shih Tzu, Bruce, as our baby.
Mr. Carradin and I love to travel, go to the movies, and spend time with friends and family.
