OPEN HOUSE
Thanks to all the families who came to Open House last night. For those of you I hadn't met before, it was great to meet you, and for those of you who I already knew, it was great to see you again. I apologize, one more time, for not having everything ready that I intended to have ready for you. I will get those things sent home with your child in the near future. Please look for them. There will be important "Links" to web sites we use in the classroom and that you and your child will be able to access from home. Some of the sites have an access code which will also be listed. I will also send a copy of the Technology Use form the students needed to sign before using the tools we use in the classroom and the Internet Use Form that needs to be signed and returned.
New Parent Letter under Important Information. Please read the REVISED letter!
Welcome to my classroom this year new 4th graders. I can hardly wait to meet you on Monday. I hope you are as excited as I am to start the new year. See you all on Monday!
History CBA Presentations are located under Technology heading. Check them out. These are not the student's written CBA. They are a PowerPoint presentation.
For any 3rd Grade Parents who may check in on my site: Fourth Graders are expected to know their Multiplication facts when they come to school in the Fall. Please work with your child during the Summer to keep these facts fresh in their mind. We will start the year with 4th grade multiplication and division. The students need to KNOW their facts. Thanks!
Time for a new upgrade: I added the links to Math Connects (our new Math Series) and Ewords (Houghton Mifflin Eduplace our reading series) to the bottom of this page. Let's make life simple!
Please remember that multiplication is a huge part of 4th grade.
DON'T FORGET TO ASK YOUR CHILD ABOUT THEIR DAY.
I added the "At Home Website of Eduss" at the bottom of the page. Your child can work at home on a version that is very similar to the school version. Have fun and good luck.
Have added more math MSP problems to the web page. Check out the MSP Section on the left side bar.
Please check the calendar regularly for important dates. Click on the blue words for more information. If anyone would like an e-mail reminder for tests, important dates, etc. send me your e-mail address.
I have been adding links to my web site. Click on "MY LINKS" at the top of my home page. CHECK IT OUT!!!!!!
