Welcome!

5th and 6th grade students at Main Street Elementary have music class 50 minutes once per week. 6th grade students may also take band, which is scheduled during the school day. 5th and 6th grade students may also join our Honor Choir which practices after and before school weekly. Honor Choir is after school on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday mornings this year.  Students may choose one rehearsal per week that best fits their schedule!

Our upcoming concerts for the Honor Choir are as follows:

Saturday, December 6th Honor Choir will perform at MSU Winterfest which will be held in Hammons Center on the Missouri State University campus in Springfield. We will be singing from 10:00 - 10:30 am on the 2nd Balcony overlooking the front entrance to Hammons Center!

Tuesday, December 9th Honor Choir and Band will present their annual Winter Concert at 6:30 pm at Main Street, to be  in the gym.
