This fall, the Bashore Bunch has pledged to read 100 books as part of Scholastic Book Clubs’ ClassroomsCare program. The philanthropy-based literacy campaign is designed to teach children about the joys and importance of reading and giving. Classes around the country are reading 100 books each. When we meet that goal, the Mannings, Scholastic, and our charity partners will put one million books into the hands of the neediest children. The Bashore Bunch will get to see firsthand that their efforts can make the world a better place! 

Communication: I believe parent conferences are very important, and I plan to work closely with you throughout the year.  I am always available to meet or speak with you.  If it is not urgent, please jot a note and I will respond as soon as possible. In return, I will contact you by note or telephone if there is something that I'd like to discuss. Health: Please advise me of any specific concerns, especially food or other allergies. If your child needs to take any medicine during school, please let the nurse know 610-767-9827.
