We are preparing our preschoolers to recite Surat Al-Fatiha for the upcoming MET fundraiser on May 13th.
We would like to thank all the parents who came and volunteer in our classroom in the month of April. We appreciate all your great ideas and support.
In the month of May our theme will be" ZOO ANIMALS AND FARM ANIMALS" .
In the first two weeks we will learn about zoo animals though reading books and through art and crafts such as making animal crowns, coloring animal’s pictures, and play animal guessing game. We will be learning the names of the animal’s babies and the sounds that the animals make.
We will learn some Arabic vocabulary such as:
LION (ASAD)
GIRAFFE (ZARAFAH)
TIGER(NEMER)
BEAR(DOB)
ELEPHANT(FEEL)
In the last two weeks we will be working on Farm Animals. We will read books, and making some project with the children such as: animal’s plates, cut and paste, and playing guessing games. We will learn few Arabic vocabulary such as:
DUCK(BATTA)
RABBET(ARNAB)
COW ( BAKARA)
SHEEP(KHAROOF)
HORSE (HESAN)
DOG (KALLAB)
CAT (QETTAH)
In English we will be working on the letters (R,S,T,U and V)
In Arabic we will be working on the letters(Khaf, LAM, NOON, HA and WAW)
IN Islamic studies we will continue to recite surat Al-Asr and we will recite surat Al-. Qadr
and we learn about prophet Mohamad's (pbuh) life.
