large view 2009-2010 Belles

The Bearcat Belles is a dance team that was created in the 1970's. They are known for their kick routines performed on Friday nights at football games and their hip-hop dances at pep rallies and basketball games.

Bearcat Belles try out each spring and must maintain a 2.0 GPA. It is open to 9th-12th grade girls. They practice and perform throughout the school year. Belles must be skilled in technique, such as leaps, kicks, turns, and splits. The Bearcat Belle sponsors are Melanie Garrison and Emery Pendergrass.
