The Kindergarten Behavior Policy is as follows:

Kindergarten Behavior Policy

Behavior Standards for Our Classrooms:

1.      Be polite.

2.      Listen and follow directions.

3.      Raise hand.

4.      Let others do their work.

5.      Finish class work on time.

6.      Use and “inside voice” in the classroom.

Positive Responses:

1.      Verbal praise.

2.      Notice acceptable behavior.

3.      Paper “kisses”/Treasure shopping

4.      Daily “Choice Time”

Consequences:

1.      Yellow Level– verbal warning.

2.      Red Level – note or phone call to parents when appropriate.

School Behavior Strategy:

If someone bothers you:

1.      Ignore the person and walk away.

2.      Ask the person to stop.

3.      Tell an adult.
