Hello!  My name is Lindsey Haralson and I am thrilled to be teaching your child this
year.  This will be my fifth year teaching third grade, and I am so excited
to meet you!

Our classroom will be a positive learning community.  Throughout the course of the school year, an atmosphere will be provided that fosters problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and communication.  When classroom expectations are high, students will rise to meet them.  A very unique community develops where we become risk takers, as well as active participants in the learning process. Third grade is a big year full of challenges and opportunities to grow.

I grew up in Snellville, GA (outside of Stone Mountain) and moved to the Newnan area with my husband a few years ago.   We have been married for a little over four years now and are enjoying our life here in Newnan, GA!  I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and a master's degree in Early Childhood reading and mathematics.  I am currently in school again, working towards a specialist degree in Gifted and Creative Education at The University of Georgia.  I absolutely LOVE teaching third grade.  It is such a fun year, and I know you will love it too!

Outside of school I like to read, paint, spend time with family and friends,
play with my dog Rylee, and, of course, cheer on my Dawgs!!
