Welcome to Austin Peace Academy's High School Science Classes

Our mission for high school and eighth grade science this year is to foster a deep interest in science and an understanding of scientific methods.  

With a curriculum that has an emphasis on critical thinking skills, a focus on math and writing in science, and that cultivates an atmosphere of inquiry, we are preparing our students for success in advanced science classes as well as teaching them skills that will apply in all their academic endeavors. 

Laboratory work, including self-directed experiments and thoughtful analysis of results, forms the backbone of our course work.
