3.    Keep the classroom clean.

4.    No food/drink.

5.    Be on time- or have a late pass.

6.    Students must raise hand to leave their seat (for any reason).

7.    Stay in your seat until the teacher dismisses you.

Grading Policy:

Your grade is based on tests, quizzes, homework, participation, presentations and projects.  Each assignment will be worth a designated number of points.

Approximate point values:

Test                 75-150

Quiz                 20-50

Project             20-100

Presentation      20-100

Homework         10-20

To calculate your grade:  total points earned/total points possible

Example:   Kevin earned 450 points out of 500 possible.  He has a 90%.

NO late homework assignments are accepted.  Homework must be handed in/shown at the beginning of class or no credit is given.  It will be recorded as a zero.  Projects/presentations which are done late will receive -10 points per day.

Missing Class:

Should you miss class for any reason it is YOUR responsibility to find out what assignment/notes were given.  You are also responsible for handing in work that was checked when you were absent.

·        For each day you are absent you have ONE day to make up missed homework.

·        TESTS/QUIZZES- Tests and quizzes are to be made up during 10th period.  You have 4 days upon your return to make up missed quizzes/tests.  After the fourth day you receive -20 points per day.

Notebook Quiz:

There will be at least one notebook quiz UNANNOUNCED each quarter.  You will NEED to use your notes/handouts to answer questions.  Although notebooks are not collected you are required to have one and bring it with you everyday to class.
