Reading Logs

Students are required to read a minimum of twenty minutes per day, five times per week, and complete a Reading Log.  After reading, students use the log to record information about what they read, including the date, the title of the book or article, and a short summary.  Students need to obtain the signature of a parent or guardian on Thursday evening, verifying the contents of the log, and turn it in on Friday.  If the student is absent on Friday, s/he needs to turn it in the first day s/he returns to school.  If the log is misplaced, s/he may duplicate the form on a piece of paper or print a new one off the website.  Reading Logs will only be accepted one day late for reduced credit.  In order to look at or print a copy of the Reading Log, click on the related file below.
