My name is Henry Gold, and I am Deputy Superintendent for the Ferndale Schools. I oversee Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Contract Negotiations, Operations, the Adult & Alternative Education and the Ferndale Career Center.

I've been fortunate enough to be an employee of Ferndale Public Schools for 38 years. I started in 1969 as a teacher and 19 years later became an Assistant Principal. In 2002 I became, and currently am, the Deputy Superintendent.

As a long time district employee I have witnessed and been part of many changes. I have never been prouder than now, to call myself an Eagle.

Ferndale Public Schools has had the unique ability to face and overcome significant challenges. Our traditions, our diversity, and our commitment to excellence continues to sustain us and invigorate us. I have a great affection for this district and am committed to its success and the success of our students.
