Here are some of the programs and activities that the Goff PTO sponsors or contributes towards (or has in the past):

Student of the Week/Month Program:  It's nice to be recognized for working extra hard or doing something nice!  We provide funds for this program that recognizes students nominated by their teachers.

Scholarships and Sponsorships:  The PTO funds scholarships (bonds) awarded to eighth grade students selected by the Art Department and the Technology Department for excellence in these areas. The PTO also provides funds for student incentives for the GROW Program and student sponsorships for the Grades 6/7/8 annual class trips.

Annual Contributions:  Each year the PTO contributes to the Education Foundation, the Halloween Happening, various Clubs at Goff, High Honors Dinner, Elevation Celebration, and much more.

Special Needs and Requests:  Funds are made available for special needs or requests. In recent years, we have donated funds for: 

• Equipment and Facilities: Weight room equipment, audio-visual equipment and cordless microphones for school assemblies, Goff TV equipment, Organic Garden Project barn materials and equipment, picnic tables and outdoor chairs, an outdoor storage shed, etc.
• Instructional Equipment: At the end of the 2007-8 school year, the PTO was proud to fund the purchase of a Promethean Activeboard in tandem with the District's Lighthouse installations of new instructional technology within each of the schools.
• Morning snacks for students during ELA testing.
• Goff families affected by loss to home and family.
