The Goff PTO is a limited liability non-profit corporation that is independent of any national organization. The purpose of our PTO is encompassed in our five mission goals:

• To promote the welfare of children and youth in the home, school and community.
• To bring the home and school into closer relation, that parents and teachers may cooperate in a meaningful manner in the education of the students.
• We hope you will join us in meeting our goals. Your children will reap the benefits through participation in many of the activities and programs we sponsor, you'll show your appreciation and support to the staff that work with your kids every day, and you'll meet and work with some great people!
• The PTO sponsors numerous events and programs at Goff, lends a helping hand for many school events and invests in school equipment, facilities and supplies where help is often needed. To raise funds, we coordinate fundraisers early in the school year and also participate in a few ongoing programs throughout the year.
• As a parent in the school, you are automatically a voting member of the PTO, so get involved! You can participate in the PTO in many ways -- by attending meetings, serving as an officer, and chairing or helping with projects and events. To find out more, please visit the Programs, Events and Activities section, or join us for our meetings held on the third Tuesday of almost every month (see Calendar section). There is always a way for you to get involved, and help is always welcome!
