In Social Studies this year we will learn about  United States History to the year 1865.   We'll begin the year learning about  Colonial America and finish with the Civil War.  We will then review the Geography, American Indian and European Exploration Units that you learned in 5th grade.  Check out our UNIT ORGANIZERS below to see a more detailed map of what we will study this year.  They begin with the units you learned last year and are then listed in the order we will study them.  I am SO excited to be able to spend a year with you learning about the history of our wonderful nation!  Visit this site often.
