The following list is the standards and benchmarks for LIfe Skills.

Standard 2:  Building Relationships

  • Benchmark C:  Determine personal assets that demonstrate healthy, caringand responsbiel citizenship.

  • Benchmark A:  Operationalize career plan based on self knowledge and interests.

  • Benchmark C:  Interpret career and workplace issues.

Standard 7  Manage a Life Plan

  • Benchmark A:  Examine values and resources that support lifestyle goals.
  • Benchmark B:  Explore time management strategies related to educational, work, and familiy goals.
  • Benchmark E:  Apply decision-making skills to educational, work, and interpersonal problems.
  • Benchmark F:  Utilize skills for resisting peer pressure and resolve conflict in interpersonal, educational, and workplace relationships.

  • Benchmark H:  Recognize friend, family, and community systems that sustain productive, meaningful lifestyles.
