This website has been designed to help students keep current on assignments and class work. Homework assignments, project due dates and exam dates are posted on the calendar page. These link to descriptions of the assignments which are also accessible from the homework page. In many instances the assignments also link to worksheets, instructions or rubrics that can be printed out. Many assignments in Forensic Chemistry and Chemistry K will be submitted through http://www.webassign.com/ Webassign lets you try problems and be graded immediately. You will be able to submit your answers multiple times so that you can correct your work and get a higher grade. Webassigns will typically be announced several days in advance so that if you have trouble with problems you can ask questions in class to get clarifications and then resubmit your corrected work. Webassign also randomly scrambles problems and answers, and generates new numbers in math problems so each student will get a unique assignment. My goals are to keep students and parents informed about expectations, to provide lots of support to keep students on track, and to help everyone identify problems quickly so corrective action can be taken.
