High School GATE students have added support at their site.

In Torrance Unified School District, high school students are encouraged to stretch their academic horizons by taking “honors” designated classes or Advanced Placement classes. GATE students tend to take these rigorous classes early on in their high school career. Additionally, GATE students benefit from the site GATE Coordinator in charge of following-up on the individual progress of each GATE student. If GATE students have academic questions or concerns, they may go to the site counselors or the GATE coordinator to receive assistance.
