Bobcat Football 1st Round-Good Luck!

The Bobcats travel to Decorah Wednesday night and take on 2nd ranked and undefeated Decorah in a 7pm game.

Last week the Bobcats fought hard, but lost to a very good Marion team. We had some very costly turnovers and had some major defensive breakdowns in a 13 point defeat.

We are fortunate to be in the Substate round of the post season, as it took some other teams wins/losses to give us a chance. We have been talking to the kids all week about embracing this opportunity.

We know that the Bobcats have not won a post season game for many years, but we feel like we have an excellant shot at coming out of Decorah with a victory. We have alot to prove to ourselves and our fans, and we will be ready for the challenge.

This was a fun week of practice, and the energy level was very good. Look for Decorah to run the ball very well and play good defense. They are a hard working team that doesn't make many mistakes, so we will need to play a nearly perfect game to be competitive.
