Class Rules

Mr. Westcott's Class Rules
- Be prepared and ready to learn when class begins.
- Be respectful. Don't talk when I'm talking or when one of your classmates is answering or asking a question.
- Keep focused. Stay on task. Ignore distractions.
- Stay in your assigned seat.
- Be respectful of your classroom environment. Do not throw your garbage on the floor, write on your desks, chew gum, or eat in the classroom. Leave the room as clean as you found it.
- Keep your hands, feet, objects, and rude comments to yourself.
- Make sure to always use language appropriate for a classroom setting.
- NO cell phones, ipods, etc. If I see it, I take it.
Consequences
•Stage 1: Conference with the teacher.
Stage 2: Loss of “Out to Lunch” privilege or Recess.
Stage 3: Phone call/e-mail home
Stage 4: Official removal
