What does the PTC do for Franklin?
The goal of the Franklin PTC is to help create the best learning environment for our students and promote a strong Franklin community. We do this by organizing fun events throughout the year, supporting teachers and staff, fundraising, and promoting other important events. The PTC provides the following programs and curriculum enrichment that our students wouldn’t typically receive through public school funding:
· Classroom Technology: All student computers including 2 mobile labs & desktops in classrooms
· Educational Assemblies (School-wide & grade-level specific)
· Classroom Student Magazine Subscriptions
· Reading Counts Rewards Program - incentive stores for students 2nd-8th grades
· Classroom Support Funds ($175 per classroom) & Teacher Requests of special items
· Staff Appreciation & Welcome Back Luncheon
· Campus Improvements & Office Supplies
· Art and Garden Docent Programs
· Library & Music (provide additional funding)
· Family Reading Night & B.E.A.R. Night
· Student Talent Show
· School Play (Drama Club)
· Trojan Trackers (Running Club)
· Starstruck Dance Showcase performance (K-6th grades)
