Art Docent The Art Docent Program is a visual arts program designed to allow children more opportunities to explore their art talents through educational art lessons and creative art projects conducted in K-8th grade classrooms. Garden Docent The Garden Docent Program is an instructional program that teaches student about the garden and nutrition. Reading Counts Program With Scholastic Reading Counts! your students have an independent reading program that tracks their success on the books they read, in and out of school. This technology-based program creates a personalized and engaging learning environment that ensures independent reading accountability. The Kindergarten thru 3rd grade classrooms, the library and Mrs. Prince's classroom have 6 desktop workstations. The 4th-6th grade classrooms and 7th & 8th grade classrooms each have an EarthWalk Mobile Computer Lab. Room 21 is used as a "computer lab" so that 2nd & 3rd grades will have access to a computer room (utilizing the mobile computer lab) when they want the whole class to use computers. StarStruck Dance Showcase: 10/11/11 & 10/13/11 The PTC is excited to sponsor (using Go the Distance funds) another year of the Starstruck Dance Showcase program. Students in grades K-6th will be participating in the dance performance. Starting after Labor Day, students will be learning a dance that their class will be performance at the Showcase scheduled for October 11th and October 13th.
