As Director of  Ferndale Adult and Alternative Services, I am responsible to supervise three areas of the school district: adult education, alternative education, and the Michigan Works! Ferndale Career Center. There are five adult and alternative education buildings in Ferndale, Oak Park and Southfield. We offer alternative education for 16-19 years old, high school completion for over 20 years old, adult basic education for adults needing to improve literacy skills, English as a second language for foreing born adults. The Ferndale Career Center is located on East Nine Mile and offers a variety of options to both youth and adults needed career and employment services. 

My husband, Darwin and I have been residents of Ferndale for 34 years. We have three children, Keith, Sarah, and Nick, who all attended Ferndale Schools.
