We tend to trust what we read in newspapers, magazines, and cyberspace. But should we?

Remember: The rhetorical triangle is always at play. All writers choose what information to include or to report. Our knowledge of world events is limited to what we read or hear from others.  

Please examine the sublinks in the left margin. I plan to post media-generated articles of interest that we can discuss from a rhetorical perspective.

Here we can learn about the savviness of the radical group PETA, or the subtle bias of "objective" reporters; as well as how the source of your news can shape your political beliefs.
