The Drumbeats of War, Part II

We have examined political speeches leading to the Second Gulf War. Now, your group will be assigned a previous American war. Using the provided research time, collect at least three speeches by either the President or key members of his administration presenting the arguments for war. Pore through the speeches, compiling rhetorical strategies. Be certain to obtain copies of the speeches, fully documenting the source.

As a group, create a PowerPoint program identifying the major arguments, noting the underlying strategies, and addressing the intended effect.
