Hello! Welcome to Mrs. Schirmer's Page.

We will be taking a short break from Science to complete our Maps Unit in Social Studies. Our next unit will be Matter.

In Math we are learning about place value. Included in this unit is showing numbers in different ways and comparing numbers. Next week we will begin a unit on number concepts and patterns. Even and Odd numbers, skip counting, ordinal numbers and patterning are all components of this unit.

In Social Studies, we are continuing to learn about different types of maps and how to use them. We will also be learning about the Pilgrims and Native Americans during November.

Please remember to read with your child or have them read to you EVERY night. Initial the claendar in your child's take home folder after reading each night.
