Creative Writing

Creative Writing class will attempt to bring out the verbal artist in you J We will spend the semester working in a variety of genres from poetry to short stories to children’s books & movie scripts. You will keep a journal, part will be used to respond to writing prompts, and part will be used for your free writing story ideas. I ask that you bring an open mind, a commitment to write and a desire to express yourself . I am looking forward to a semester filled with exciting stories, poems and free writing. As the summer comes to a close start writing some ideas about interesting things you’ve done & seen. These can be great ways to peak your imagination. Everyday we will write in our journals
Week of 11/16 Mon.: Continue to work on samples of Humorous Epitaphs,Concrete Poetry, 5 sense poetry, color poetry & acrostic; two of each due on Wed.
