"Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny."  Mahatma Ghandi

Hello! Let me introduce myself, for those of you who may not know me. My name is Miss Maloney I am beginning my 31st year as a teacher at Sacred Heart. I have taught both religion and English and I spent  three years as the Director of Admissions. Prior to coming to Sacred Heart I taught 5th grade at a Catholic school in South Buffalo for 4 years and junior high at St. Benedict's for 2 years. In addition to teaching I am also the moderator of the Torch (the school's newspaper), a job I also love. Sacred Heart has provided me with not only a job, but a sense of family and community that I couldn't find anywhere else. I look forward to someday retiring from Sacred Heart.

You can reach me at:  emaloney@sacredheartacademy.org or at 834-2101 ext.353.  I will contact you within 24 hours, however if possible I will contact you before the end of the day.

Students:  My free periods for the first semester will be 2 and 9 (in an emergency 6th per. lunch).  If you need help with anything, at any time please make an appointment (this will also be time to make up tests with me).  I am also available before & after school.

Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission. -Eleanor Roosevelt-
