To the left on the navigation bar you will find links to various science fair help, from a list of ideas to how your board should look.

The Mossy Oaks science fair will be held in early December, with student projects due on Friday, December 4th. A part of their grade will involve a classroom presentation. Please make sure your child practices at home to help them feel more comfortable.

I will discuss possible projects, guidelines, and rules regarding the project. I will assist your child as much as possible, however the assistance is limited to answering questions, steering him/her to resources, offering encouragement and keeping the student on track. Please note that students must complete their own projects independently.

It is not the intent to have parents spend a lot of money on these projects. Many of the ideas listed can be done very inexpensively. Science Fairs are designed to expose students to how real science involves questioning, testing, recording data and drawing a conclusion.
