Star Student of the Week

Each week a new student will be chosen to be our class "Star Student of the Week".  The student will bring in photos of himself/herself, family and friends to share with the class on Monday.  The student will bring home our class pet, Sammy, and his journal. The journal will be used to write about adventures with Sammy.  Pictures may be drawn in the journal and photographs may be included. In addition, the student will choose a book to read to the class on Thursday.  (Be sure to practice reading the book at home throughout the week.)  During the week, classmates will write something special about the "Star Student of the Week" and the pages will be bond into a memory book.

• My favorite subject is music.

• I am proud of myself because  I am good at math.

• I am a star student because I like to color.

• What I like most about school is playing.

• I am good at baseball.
