READING HOMEWORK: Please remind your child to record his/her daily reading (15 minutes or more) on the reading log. Return signed reading logs to school at the end of the week. Skills covered this week: Grammar: Using Verb Tenses; Sentence Combining with Verbs Comprehension Skills: story elements; make inferences; summarize; multiple-meaning words; main idea; context clues Writing: Persuasive Writing
HOMEWORK: For daily homework assignments, please check your child's Homework Checklist (blue sheet). This sheet is to be kept in your child's travel folder with the reading log attached.
Take Home folders are to be used daily. Please remind your child of the importance of staying organized and being responsible.
The next Character Education Assembly will be held on Friday, February 17th at 2:15 pm. The third graders will be presenting the word "Integrity". Please join us if you can.
