Welcome back!  All of us at FMS are so excited to begin the 2008-09 school year. Hopefully all of you have had a wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable summer vacation filled with fun and learning.

There are lots of good things to look forward to this school year. We are continuing our focus on the Ferndale Five and Every Student Every Day.  These initiatives are vital as we strive to maintain high expectations for all of our students. Please make sure you continue to dialog with your student about staying connected in school, staying on top of classwork and homework, finding an activity (sport, club) with which to be involved and respecting themselves and others.

 If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me via phone or email. You may also feel free to visit when your schedule allows. Although I do maintain an open door policy, appointments are suggested to ensure that we make a connection.

My first priority is, and always will be, our students.  Let me know if there is anything I can do to help your student achieve the best level of success. Together, we can make this a great year of continued growth and development.
